Job Description
Rebar Concrete Products in McKinney, TX is hiring a dependable Delivery Driver who also helps in the warehouse. We supply rebar, wire mesh and concrete accessories to residential and commercial contractors across North Texas. If you like staying busy, work well with your hands and take pride in getting orders out right, we want to talk to you.
Vehicles : 2022 F 650 w/ 20' flatbed, 2015 Ram 2500 w/ 25'&40' Trailer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM. No nights, no Sundays.
Pay: $[17-20]/hour, based on time and experience
Location: 2112 N Custer Rd, McKinney, TX 75071
What you'll do
- Deliver rebar and concrete supplies to jobsites and contractors in the DFW / North Texas area
- Plan your route and deliver on time to residential and commercial jobsites
- Load and unload the truck safely, and secure every load with straps and tie-downs (overhang flags provided)
- Check each order against the ticket before you leave, and get every outgoing load signed off by the office manager or warehouse lead
- Get delivery confirmations and talk professionally with customers on site
- Between deliveries: pull and stage orders, load customer pickups, keep inventory organized, and keep the yard and warehouse clean
- Do basic daily truck checks (fluids, tires, lights) and report any problems
What we're looking for
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record
- Experience driving a flatbed, stake bed or truck with a trailer is a big plus
- Forklift experience preferred (we can train the right person)
- Able to lift 50+ lbs again and again and work outside in Texas weather
- Reliable, on time, and willing to jump in wherever you're needed
- Construction supply, lumber yard or building materials experience is a plus
- Must pass a background check, drug screen and MVR (driving record) check
