Title: Maintenance Technician - L1
Pay: 25-26/HR on W2
Hours: M-F 7am - 3:30pm with occasional on-call with a minimum of 4 hrs paid OT
Location: 1524 Lebanon Road, Danville KY

Potential to convert to FTE, If so, what rate:
Account is ending, client may decide to keep candidate on.

Manufacturing plant

Team Overview:
Candidate will be working independently

Resource's typical working day:
Daily work will be assigned via Work order management system and various added tasks from H.M
Weekly visual inspections
Eye wash station inspections
Escorting vendors
General office maintenance

Must Have Skills:
Basic electric
Basic plumbing
General maintenance skills
Basic Mechanical aptitude

Nice to have skills:
Minor HVAC experience
- Changing belts

Soft Skills:
Good customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Years of Experience:2-4 years

Educationh.s. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus

Software skills:Basic computer skills
Microsoft Office
- outlook

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
•Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
•Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
•Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
•Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
•Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
•Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
•Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
•Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
•Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
