Job Description
We are hiring Housekeepers to join our hospital team in Valhalla, NY. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments.
Previous housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), janitorial, custodial, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but qualified candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
Available Shifts
- 3:00 PM–11:00 PM – Majority of positions
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM – Remaining positions
Important: Candidates must be available to complete training during the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize hospital areas, rooms, common areas, and assigned spaces.
- Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Properly handle cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Follow hospital safety and infection-control procedures.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work in a hospital environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Must be available to train during the day shift.
- Previous housekeeping, EVS, janitorial, custodial, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
