Day Tripper Bagel Co. is looking for a dependable Weekend Baker to take the lead on our morning bagel production and help get everything ready before the doors open.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, likes staying organized, and doesn’t mind an early start. You’ll come in approximately 11⁄2 hours before opening to fire up production and make sure fresh bagels are ready for our first customers of the day.

What You’ll Do

• Set up the baking and production lines each morning
• Bake the first batches of fresh bagels before opening
• Continue baking throughout the morning based on customer demand
• Monitor inventory and make sure we have the right bagel varieties available
• Mix and prepare fresh bagel dough
• Prep and organize production for the following day
• Maintain consistent quality across each batch
• Keep the bakery, equipment, and production areas clean and organized
• Work independently to keep morning production running smoothly

Schedule

This is primarily a weekend, early-morning position.

You’ll typically arrive about 11⁄2 hours before opening and work until approximately 12:00 PM, depending on production needs and how busy we are.

The early start means you’ll generally be finished around lunchtime with the rest of your day free.

Pay

$14.00–$16.50 per hour, depending on experience and availability.

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and punctual, especially for early-morning shifts
• Organized and able to manage multiple production tasks
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to keep up in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to learn our bagel-making and baking process
• Strong attention to quality and consistency
• Professional baking or food-production experience is a plus, but not required for the right person
