About the Role
Electra Solutions LLC is a licensed electrical contractor (NC Unlimited) expanding from residential service into commercial construction and maintenance across the Triangle and Triad. We need an organized, numbers-minded Office Administrator to run the back office as we bid and win more commercial work.
What You'll Do
- Manage AR/AP in QuickBooks: invoicing, progress billing, vendor bills, payments and reconciliations
- Prepare pay applications (AIA G702/G703), track retainage and follow up on collections
- Handle lien waivers, subcontractor/vendor setup, W-9s and certificates of insurance
- Keep job files, contracts, change orders and submittals organized
- Maintain our profiles on GC bid platforms and vendor portals
- Support permitting paperwork and inspection scheduling
- Answer phones, coordinate schedules and support the project manager and field team
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of office or accounting administration, ideally in construction or the trades
- Strong QuickBooks skills (Online or Desktop) with solid AR/AP and reconciliation experience
- Familiarity with pay apps, retainage and lien waivers is a big plus
- Comfortable with Google Workspace; organized, accurate and dependable
Pay & Benefits
- $22–$26 per hour, based on experience
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance and PTO, available after an introductory period (benefits do not start on day one)
