Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Local CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for making local deliveries, loading and unloading materials, maintaining accurate delivery records, and assisting with warehouse operations when not driving. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Driving Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform local deliveries and pickups throughout the El Paso area.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and products.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and transportation records.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Warehouse Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Label, sort, and store products in designated locations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B License.
- Medical Card
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
- Previous delivery driving and warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
