Position Overview

A growing company is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of AP experience who is dependable, eager to learn, and looking to grow their accounting career.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a small team environment, processing invoices accurately and efficiently, and learning new processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process approximately 200–300 invoices per week, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review and verify invoices for proper documentation and approval.
• Enter and maintain AP information accurately within accounting systems.
• Assist with invoice discrepancies and follow up as needed.
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation.
• Support the accounting team with general administrative and accounting tasks.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding invoice and payment questions.
• Learn and follow established accounting procedures and processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable and able to consistently meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn and comfortable being trained on new processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative accounting environment.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Position Details

• Location: Peachtree Corners, GA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
• Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
• Interview Process: One in-person interview
