Local Delivery Drivers

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for operating a motor vehicle to deliver and pick up products, materials, and merchandise to and from customers and suppliers. You will handle loading, unloading, vehicle inspections, and routine truck maintenance while providing excellent customer service.

When not on delivery routes, you will support warehouse operations by pulling orders, operating material handling equipment, staging inventory, organizing products, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This role involves working in both warehouse environments and outdoor conditions during various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and legally operate a company truck to deliver and pick up merchandise, freight, and supplies promptly and efficiently.
• Load order fulfillment materials, merchandise, and inventory onto trucks prior to departure and unload items at customer and vendor sites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, perform basic truck maintenance, and report any mechanical issues to your direct supervisor.
• Provide professional customer service during all customer interactions, building positive relationships to support sales and company growth.
• Assist warehouse staff with order picking, pulling products, inventory control, staging shipments, and general warehouse organization when not driving.
• Maintain complete and accurate delivery logs, shipping records, and route documentation.
• Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move heavy freight safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both the warehouse and company vehicle across all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating a 16-foot to 26-foot flatbed or box truck.
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating a forklift and pallet jack in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated ability to inspect, maintain, and safely operate commercial delivery motor vehicles.
• Ability to work in varied environment conditions, including warehouse settings and outdoors in hot, cold, rain, or seasonal weather.
• Physical ability to handle, load, unload, pull, and move heavy materials and merchandise throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service and team collaboration.
• Ownership of a smartphone capable of running business-related mobile applications.
