Part-Time Housekeeper

The Argyle is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation of our private dining club during our busy season.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and understands that the little details make a big difference in creating an outstanding experience for our members and guests.

Essential Duties

• Clean and maintain dining rooms, lounges, restrooms, hallways, offices, and other club areas.
• Keep restrooms clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout service.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitize surfaces.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing guest suites, including changing linens, replenishing amenities, and managing laundry.
• Support event setup and breakdown, including preparing and polishing linens.
• Respond promptly and discreetly to housekeeping needs during club operations.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and follow proper safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work alongside team members to ensure the club always looks its best.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Frequent physical effort in transporting packages, cases, or objects of up to 50 lbs.
• Endure variable indoor and outdoor temperature conditions.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, burns, slips, trips, and cuts from knives, broken glass, and metal cans. 
• Frequent washing of hands.
• Required to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
