**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered CT Tech - Weekend Shift!** **Job Description:** - Position Summary: - Under the guidance of the Radiologist, you'll perform essential radiographic procedures, including X-rays & Fluoro as you support operations in the OR. - Join us in using your ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnosis and make a real impact in patient care. - Position Responsibilities: - Transport patients safely, considering their physical abilities. - Utilize positioning aids to ensure quality exams. - Operate all CT-associated equipment proficiently. - Protect patients in line with X-Ray Department policies and procedures. - Assist in administering contrast media as directed by the Radiologist. - Engage in special procedures, practicing sterile technique and Universal Precautions. - Maintain thorough and organized records according to department standards. - Clean examination rooms after each procedure. - Restock linen and supplies as needed. - Required Education & Experience: - Preferred: Two years of previous experience in radiology. - Successful completion of formal training in an AMA-approved radiology technology program. - Must hold registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT). - BLS Certification is required. - Physical Demands: - Engage in considerable walking, standing, bending, and squatting. - Requires reaching forward and overhead, along with some sitting and climbing. - Must be capable of moving and lifting patients and equipment (40-250 lbs). - Manual dexterity to start an IV and the ability to hear, identify and respond to equipment prompts and alarms. - Strong verbal communication skills with patients are necessary. - Shift Information: - WEEKEND SHIFT: SAT/SUN/MON - 3/12s - Minimum Years of Experience: - 1 year - Certifications / Requirements: - ACLS - BLS/BCLS - ARRT(CT) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
