Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility, requiring 1+ year of CT scanning experience and ARRT/BLS certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within a 640-bed Level 1 trauma facility
- CT department with 5 GE CT scanners
- 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend (Fri/Sat for nights)
- No floating to other departments required
- No call or standby requirements
- No holiday requirements
- Uses Epic EMR/PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT scanning experience required
- ARRT and BLS certification required
- IEMA certification required
- License required if applicable
- Previous Level 1 trauma experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
- Must be able to start IVs
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity, high-volume environment
Additional Information
- Perform basic CT scanning procedures for a high-volume, high-acuity patient population
- Department-specific orientation typically lasts 1 week
- Solid-colored scrubs required, some prints allowed
- Negative drug screen required as facility is a Drug-Free Campus
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction on eligibility, though local rates apply within 50 miles
- First-time travelers may be considered given prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
