Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel contract at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Position Overview

This is a diverse clinical opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with patients across the lifespan and wants exposure to multiple rehabilitation settings.

The position includes a combination of pediatric services, outpatient rehabilitation, long-term care and swing-bed patients, providing variety in patient populations, diagnoses and treatment approaches.

The facility offers a supportive therapy environment, updated equipment and a large pediatric gym.

Clinical Setting & Caseload

• Mixed pediatric, adult and geriatric populations
• Outpatient speech-language pathology
• Long-term care rehabilitation
• Swing-bed rehabilitation
• Large pediatric therapy gym
• New rehabilitation equipment
• Aquatic therapy available as part of the rehabilitation program
• Supportive clinical team and community

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide pediatric speech and language assessments and treatment
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide adult and geriatric speech-language pathology services
• Address dysphagia, communication deficits and cognitive impairments as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and medical teams
• Educate patients, families and caregivers
• Maintain accurate documentation in WebPT and Medhost
• Adapt treatment approaches across outpatient, long-term care and swing-bed settings
• Participate in flexible scheduling and potential swing-bed on-call coverage

Schedule & Department Information

• Department Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Outpatient: Monday – Friday
• Swing Bed: Operates seven days per week with flexible staffing days
• Therapist Schedule: Flexible hours within department operations
• On-Call: Potential swing-bed coverage
• Scheduling: Prepared approximately one week in advance
• Productivity Expectation: 88%
• Documentation: WebPT and Medhost
• Equipment: Computer provided on-site
• Dress Code: Scrub top and bottoms

Requirements

Required:

• Active Mississippi SLP license
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different treatment settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work with varied patient populations

Preferred:

• Pediatric speech therapy experience
• Adult medical or geriatric rehabilitation experience
• Outpatient or hospital rehabilitation experience
