Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist Intra Clinical in a healthcare organization. This role involves executing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images. The position requires ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and supporting various interventional and diagnostic procedures.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (R) certification, BLS (AHA) certification, 12 years of vascular or interventional experience, and valid licensure if applicable.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA) required. Vascular/Interventional Radiography Certification and relevant state licensure are preferred.
  • Experience: 12 years of vascular or interventional experience.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Completes Angiography procedures while maintaining sterile techniques and adherence to radiation safety guidelines.
    • Assists with SIRT mapping and treatments, embolizations, nephrostomy tube placements, biliary tube placements, CT-guided procedures, neuro-interventional stroke, and diagnostic procedures.
    • Ensures proper patient identification and pre-procedure preparation.
    • Develops knowledge about invasive supplies, applications, and deployment techniques.
    • Provides patient education and ensures patient comfort.
    • Maintains detailed records of procedures, patient reactions, and incidents.
    • Transports patients and stocks necessary supplies in the work area.
    • Assists in maintaining equipment functionality and reporting failures.
  • Additional Information: Experience in angiography and interventional procedures, with the ability to respond to emergent patient situations and work independently or as part of a team.
