Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health, post-acute care setting requiring 1 year of experience and current Washington state licensure.
Details
- Home health unit within a post-acute care setting
- Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- EPIC EMR used
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program or equivalent required
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Occupational Therapist license in Washington required or license eligible
- License required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Clinical skills in orthopedics, neurological, cognitive, and manual therapy required
- Ability to work with neuromuscular compromised patients
- Ability to work flexibly across outpatient, hospital, or nursing home settings
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services across the lifespan from neonatal to geriatric populations
- Demonstrate ability to dictate reports
- Work collaboratively with a team and take direction as needed
- Exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills in patient care decisions
- Cancellation policy allows for 1 shift every 4 weeks
