Job Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining a cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU) to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant.
• Maintain production, product quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor flows, pressures, purities, and plant operating conditions.
• Perform troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, electrical equipment, and instrumentation.
• Perform DERIME and warm plant start-ups.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate PLC, DCS, control valves, and instrumentation systems.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, safety, and quality records.
• Identify process issues and take appropriate corrective action.
• Support safety investigations, root cause analysis, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHS, FDA, and company requirements.
• Perform administrative duties including purchasing, production accounting, and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; technical college or military technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of Air Separation Plant operation or related industrial experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Basic knowledge of air separation, water treatment, or refrigeration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, overtime, weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
• Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities.
