Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1-2 years of experience for a role in a hospital setting requiring ARRT CT and ARRT R certification.
Details
- CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology department
- Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including Emergency Department and ICU
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday
- Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and chest with and without contrast
- Special procedures include CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, and transplant studies
- Uses PACS and Toshiba CT equipment
- May float between sister facilities within the region
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoro Permit preferred
- Compact state license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture required
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II Trauma experience preferred
- 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- Responsible for performing CT imaging procedures across a variety of clinical settings including trauma and vascular studies
- Required to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer
- Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
