Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and a Fluoroscopy Permit in hand for a 13-week acute care assignment.
Details
- Work in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Variable 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
- Uses PACS system and Philips equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- May be expected to float between sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARRT-CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy Permit required in hand
- Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
- Community hospital experience required
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Additional Information
- Perform multiplanar reconstruction and other image post-processing tasks as part of daily duties
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront prior to offer; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
- Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at standard bill rate
- Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are not required for this role
