Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
• Friday through Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Perform all types of CT exams with and without contrast at a Trauma Level 3 designation facility
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Experience with fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, surgery/C-Arm, and emergency department preferred
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Charting system experience preferred
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily caseload of approximately 20 patients
• Work in a 3-room CT department with interdisciplinary support including radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation
• May be required to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
• Required skills include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, adult outpatient, carotid, cervical, CT arthrography, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, vascular chest, vascular CTA, and venipuncture
Facility:
This facility is a Trauma Level 3 designated healthcare organization offering a comprehensive range of CT imaging services. The department consists of 3 CT rooms and supports a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients across all age groups. The facility provides interdisciplinary support through radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation services, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced work environment.
