Job description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care to residents in assisted living communities in Beacon, NY and the surrounding Dutchess County area. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys working with the senior population and wants a flexible schedule without nights or weekends. You will work closely with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary care team to manage both acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting healthy aging and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, and medication reviews.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

• Prescribe medications within the scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician license.

• Active DEA registration.

• Currently enrolled and credentialed with both Medicare and Medicaid.

• Minimum 3,600 clinical practice hours for NPs, in accordance with New York State requirements.

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.

• Primary care experience.

• Ability to practice independently.

• Strong communication, clinical, and patient-care skills.

Benefits:

• Part-time: 2 days per week

• Approximately 4-hour shifts

• Monday-Friday

• Preferred shifts: 9 AM-1 PM or 1 PM-5 PM
