Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: October 11, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit serving patients of all ages, maintaining a 1:6 patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EHR
• Respond to on-call needs as required, with expected arrival at the facility within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Level II Trauma facility to deliver high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in the state of Tennessee
• BLS certification required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Meditech EHR experience required
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date; client reserves the right to require additional certifications not listed
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with geriatric, adult, and multi-population patient care
• Professional demeanor with strong adaptability in a fast-paced environment
