Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Tarboro, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Attend and support deliveries, including experience with Level 2 deliveries
• Perform and assist with neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Deliver couplet care for mother and newborn in the postpartum setting
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Level 2 care, attending deliveries, resuscitation, and couplet care
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Strong clinical background in high-acuity Labor & Delivery settings
