Cardiac Cath Lab travel jobs at the facility in Downtown, IA let you assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures, providing pre- and post-procedure care to stabilize patient health. You will deliver high-quality care using the nursing process and demonstrate clinical skills specific to cardiac cath lab nursing, including monitoring, assessment, and documentation with electronic medical record (EMR) system. You must have an active Iowa or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1-2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience. A skills checklist specific to cardiac cath lab and/or pre/post-op is required. Recommended experience includes strong critical thinking, adaptability in high-acuity environments, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
