Summary:
\nUnder direction supervision; assist in the evaluation of patient status and provides basic bedside respiratory care (determined prior to hire in the organization – subject to change as skill levels increase.)
\nResponsibilities:
\nUnder direction supervision; assist in the evaluation of patient status and provides basic bedside respiratory care (determined prior to hire in the organization – subject to change as skill levels increase). Displays abilities to perform specific procedures associated with respiratory therapy to the patient following a prescribed treatment plan by the physician and company policies and procedures. Performs patient/family education and maintains all necessary related documentation.
\nMust have basic understanding of respiratory disease processes. Demonstrated interest in professional growth and development; ability to accept scheduling/placement designations determined prior to hire in organization. Must have good customer relations skills and basic computer skills.

\nEducation/Skills

- High School diploma or equivalent. \n
- Current student enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. \n
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

- CPR (American Heart Association) \n
