Laboratory Technician

Title: Laboratory Technician

Location - Drive Louisville, KY 40258

Duration – 6 months

Work Mode – Onsite

Payrate - $25.00/HR

Working Hours: Flexible start time between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. for an 8-hour shift. Overtime as needed.

Laboratory experience, quality control testing, laboratory equipment (viscometer, softening point, Gardner), SAP, sample preparation, calibration, quality documentation, and GMP/HACCP experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of laboratory or quality control experience.
\n
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
\n
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
\n
• Basic knowledge of statistics and SPC preferred.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Perform QC testing using laboratory equipment such as viscometers, softening point testers, and Gardner instruments.
\n
• Accurately document test results and enter data/formulas into SAP within required timelines.
\n
• Identify and report out-of-specification materials and manage nonconforming material reports (NCMR).
\n
• Prepare samples, calibrate equipment, and maintain laboratory safety and housekeeping standards.
\n
• Follow OSHA, EPA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
\n
• Support continuous improvement, production data reviews, and quality investigations.
\n
• Conduct GMP and glass inspections and attend food safety meetings.
\n

Ensure accurate and timely testing, maintain data integrity, communicate quality issues promptly, and release only materials that meet specifications.
