Pay Rate
Local: $70 – $74/hour
Traveler: $75 – $77/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work the stated schedule and meet weekend and holiday requirements.

• Must be available to work 3 out of 5 major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the IR suite, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures while maintaining a sterile field.

• Operate and monitor imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy.

• Prepare patients by verifying identification, reviewing documentation, and explaining procedural steps.

• Position patients appropriately and maintain patient comfort and safety.

• Follow radiation safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.

• Monitor equipment functionality and report technical issues.

• Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection prevention and control standards.

• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and equipment records.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Assist with post-procedure patient transfer and prepare the procedure room for the next case.
