Litigation Paralegal

Based in Philadelphia, PA, with 8 offices across the region, we are a legal services firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering results that exceed expectations. Our litigation team is growing and we are seeking an experienced General Liability Paralegal to support defense matters across commercial motor vehicle, premises liability, construction, and product liability cases. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values independent case management, substantive legal work, and long-term professional stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery materials including preparing subpoenas and summarizing depositions, discovery responses, and medical records with complete accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations by scheduling notices confirming appointments gathering records and monitoring critical deadlines with strong follow-up execution
• Prepare motions addressing discovery issues and assist with general motion practice while working independently on assigned matters
• Conduct research activities including verdict searches docket searches and background investigations while proactively managing attorney caseloads

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience with proven ability to independently handle and manage attorney case portfolios
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel preferred
