About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Highland Care Center, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Evaluating patients' functional abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to promote independence and improve quality of life
Implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, motor skills training, and sensory integration techniques
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Documenting patient progress and communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including assessments of physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a variety of occupational therapy modalities
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to, occupational therapy interventions, sensory integration techniques, and cognitive rehabilitation strategies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures
