Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Eureka, California
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Friday through Sunday. 26-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.
Highlights:
- Work in a Trauma Level III designated facility performing comprehensive CT imaging with and without contrast
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation services
- Provide care across the full patient lifespan from neonates to geriatrics in a 3-room CT department
- Average daily caseload of 20 patients with diverse imaging needs including emergency department, ICU, and outpatient services
- Opportunity to utilize advanced CT skills including multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, and trauma imaging
- One pre-approved time off period available during contract
Requirements:
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
- Current BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Valid California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
- Proficiency in PACS, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Preferred: Community hospital experience, Trauma Level I or II experience, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, surgery/C-Arm, and ER experience
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
