About this job
Job Description
Location: Rochester Hills, MI | Type: Contract-to-Hire | Compensation: Approximately $25.00+ per hour (based on proven work history)
Schedule: Permanent 3rd Shift, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. Initial training occurs on 1st shift.
A night in the roleYour shift begins at 11:00 pm. You review the M4 maintenance system and map out your preventive maintenance list—daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that keep our presses and supporting equipment humming. With lockout/tagout in place, you dive into inspections, tighten what needs tightening, and document every step. If a machine acts up, you diagnose the issue—often electrical—decide on the fix, and line up parts or outside service as needed. You might hop on a forklift or overhead crane to safely move components, handle facility upkeep, or coordinate with the molding manager on priorities. Throughout the night, you keep the workspace clean, the team informed, and production protected—stopping the process if you spot nonconforming or suspect material.
