As a Disaster Restoration Field Technician, you’ll be the first call when burst pipes, kitchen fires, and severe storms disrupt lives. You’ll arrive on scene ready to stabilize the situation, protect property, and set recovery in motion.

What a Day Could Look Like

Morning might start with a flooded basement—setting up extraction and structural drying. By afternoon, you could be performing controlled demolition to remove damaged materials safely. Some nights or weekends, you’ll respond to urgent calls to keep damage from spreading. On occasion, you’ll travel across Wisconsin or deploy to hurricane-affected states to support large-scale recovery efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Respond quickly to water and fire damage emergencies, including during off-hours.
• Carry out cleanup, drying, demolition, and restoration tasks to return structures to pre-loss condition.
• Operate specialized mitigation tools and restoration equipment with care and precision.
• Maintain strict safety practices and deliver high-quality workmanship on every job site.
• Provide occasional travel support across Wisconsin and to hurricane-impacted regions.

Compensation & Growth

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour (based on experience).
