Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a growing manufacturer in Valdosta, GA to hire an experienced Process professional as a direct hire. If you’re safety-first, mechanically savvy, and passionate about continuous improvement, this role is built for you.

A day in the life

You arrive to the production floor ready to bring lines up smoothly and keep them running at peak performance. Throughout the shift you fine-tune parameters, verify machine capability with test runs, and collaborate closely with operators, material handlers, maintenance, and supervisors. You spot the root cause behind a quality variance, recommend a replacement component, and document an adjustment that reduces scrap and downtime—all while holding the line on safety and quality standards.

What you’ll do

• Start up, monitor, and continuously optimize production equipment
• Troubleshoot machine, process, material, and quality issues
• Adjust parameters to improve efficiency and product consistency
• Conduct test runs and confirm equipment performance
• Support changeovers and insert changes
• Partner across operations, materials, maintenance, and supervision
• Identify equipment concerns and recommend repairs or parts
• Cut downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks through disciplined problem solving
• Maintain precise records of performance and process adjustments
• Champion compliance with all safety and quality requirements

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour, based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of plastics manufacturing experience
• Background as a Process Technician, Molding Technician, Setup Technician, or similar role
• Proven troubleshooting on molding machines and manufacturing processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of startup procedures, process tuning, and production optimization
• Experience resolving quality issues at the source
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Clear communicator with leadership capability
• Adaptable, coachable, and eager to learn new processes and technologies
• Consistent commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Physical requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
• Work safely around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment
