What You’ll Do (Snapshot)

• Conduct building walkthroughs to spot and prioritize repair needs.
• Maintain mechanical systems in alignment with health and safety requirements.
• Perform electrical tasks such as replacing fixtures, bulbs, outlets, and breakers.
• Assist with installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Inspect fire alarms and other safety systems; arrange timely repairs when needed.
• Fix doors, locks, windows, and other interior fixtures.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Help with landscaping, grounds care, and exterior upkeep.
• Complete painting and basic carpentry projects to improve the facility.
• Support pest control efforts and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.

Must-Haves

• Experience in facility/building maintenance or a closely related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and preventive maintenance methods.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Work well independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
• Physically able to lift, carry, climb, bend, and handle demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Nice-to-Haves

• HVAC certification or relevant technical training.
• Building Maintenance Technology or similar credential.
• Other maintenance-related certifications.
• Experience with commercial or industrial facilities.
