Position Summary
The Field Services Technician is responsible for maintenance and construction of SWD facilities. Primary duties involve general labor, repair work and/or assigned maintenance depending on project needs. This position is located in South Texas, and reports to the Field Services Supervisor.

Essential Job Duties
Conducts tasks related to the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of SWD sites and facilities.
Loads and unloads tools, pumps, pipes, and materials.
Cleans and maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Repairs pipelines and unload lines.
Installs pipes for truck offload lines, tank batteries, and transfer lines.
Constructs SWDs and offload lines
Maintains pumps, cleans check valves, and manages VFDs.
Maintains truck lanes and unloads valves.
Detects and repairs seals on transfers pumps, injection pumps, and charge pumps
Conducts routine housekeeping to keep sites clean.
Performs tank cleanouts and handles plumbing needs
Cleans filter pots and filter socks.
Cleans pumps at unloads bays.
Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including but no limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations
Performs preventative maintenance and repair downhole pumps as needed.
Submits own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusted work schedules thereafter based on company needs.
Assist with other duties as assigned based on company needs.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent such as a GED
Must be 18 years of age
Oil and gas experience
Must be dependable, come to work promptly, regularly, and on time
Must be able to work safely, follow instructions, and carry out duties while unsupervised
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and have a strong work ethic
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Must be proficient with all tools including air and electric
Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to be able to drive a Company vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Must have knowledge of SWD facilities
Must have mechanical knowledge
Heavy Equipment Certification (Skidsteer, Manlifter, Forklift, Polyfusing machine)
Pump Mechanic Certification
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places.
Must be able to use their hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and fine manipulation.
Must be able to talk and hear.
Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods of time.
Individual will be required to attend field emergencies as needed after hours.
Must be able to stand, bend, walk, kneel, climb stairs and lift over 50lbs for continuous hours.
Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to, extreme hot, cold, wind, rain, dust, snow, sleet, ice, etc. as well as wet/humid and/or dry/arid conditions.
Frequently required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
May be exposed to H2S and other industry related chemicals.
May be subject to working in low-lit areas from time to time.
May be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and/or other outdoor elements.
May encounter wildlife.
