What you’ll tackle

• Set up and run brake press machinery to meet exact specs
• Interpret blueprints and job travelers with confidence
• Choose the right tooling and make accurate machine adjustments
• Load, position, and secure workpieces safely
• Verify part quality with calipers and micrometers
• Troubleshoot issues, perform basic repairs, and complete preventative maintenance
• Pitch in with additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

What you’ll need to succeed

• 1+ years operating a brake press
• Comfort reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification
• Can lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet—standing, bending, kneeling—for extended periods
• Solid understanding of workplace safety
• Dependable, clear communicator, and receptive to direction

Compensation

Starting pay: $22.00/h – $25.00/h
