Job Description
This is a design role that follows the product the whole way: from initial proposals through production release. If you want to see your circuit board work leave the lab and go into production, this is worth a conversation.
You would be a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama, designing electrical subsystems and supporting electronic product development from concept to production. The role pays $110,000-$130,000, with travel up to 25% as needed.

- Review customer requirements and participate in design reviews
- Develop validation plans, analyze test results, and document whether designs meet performance requirements
- Investigate failures and product issues, determine root causes, and report findings in clear written reports
- Support preproduction builds, production transfers, and engineering changes
- Work with engineering teams on system integration and EMI/EMC considerations
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with substantial relevant experience, or a master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 7 years of electrical engineering experience, including circuit board design
- Ability to create and interpret schematics and wiring drawings
- Experience using laboratory equipment to troubleshoot electronic assemblies and perform failure analysis
- System integration experience and the ability to work across engineering disciplines
- Strong written communication skills, including documenting technical findings
