Job Type: Full-time- Monday-Friday | Occasional Weekends | On-site
About the Role:A packaging operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set-up, operate, monitor, clean, and troubleshoot packaging equipment. Maintaining department cleanliness, documentation accuracy, effective communication, and excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
Essential Functions:These are the essential functions of the job which are required to be completed with or without reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned.
Set-up of Packaging Equipment.
Verification of packaging component lot numbers to be used (Product, Poly, Cases).
Entry and verification of proper customer information on printing systems.
Case print integrity.
Bag fill weight checks.
Metal detector integrity.
Case packer operation.
Monitor product/bag quality and make necessary machine adjustments throughout packaging runs to maintain customer specifications.
Perform all assigned tasks in compliance with P.A.S.S policies, safety regulations, cGMPs, and any government associated policies.
