Furnance Technician

Furnace Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Grand Prairie. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial furnace equipment while ensuring production, quality

, and safety standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial furnaces and heat-treatment equipment.

• Set and maintain proper furnace temperatures, cycle times, and operating parameters.

• Load and unload furnace equipment according to production requirements.

• Monitor gauges, controls, temperature readings, and equipment performance.

• Troubleshoot furnace, burner, heating, and control-system issues.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs on furnace equipment.

• Identify equipment problems and communicate more complex maintenance needs.

• Inspect processed materials to ensure they meet production and quality

  specifications.

• Complete production, temperature, maintenance, and quality

  documentation.

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating or maintaining industrial furnaces, ovens, heat-treatment equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand temperature controls, gauges, burners, and basic electrical/mechanical systems.
• Preventive maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, equipment manuals, and production specifications.
• Strong attention to safety and quality

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience strongly preferred.
