What You’ll Do:
The Life Enrichment Assistant provides LifeCircles participants with active and engaging activities that promote, cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Programming will align with participant's goals of care and interests. Programming will center around active movement, designed to maintain or improve health, function, and the participant's desire to remain at home.

What You’ll Do:
The Life Enrichment Assistant provides LifeCircles participants with active and engaging activities that promote, cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Programming will align with participant's goals of care and interests. Programming will center around active movement, designed to maintain or improve health, function, and the participant's desire to remain at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Encourage participant engagement and active participation in programs that support health, wellness, and independence.
- Understand participant care plans and goals to ensure programming meets individual needs.
- Adapt activities to maximize participation while promoting dignity, autonomy, and person-centered care.
- Report changes in participant condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with recommendations and updates to participant Life Enrichment care plans.
- Support the planning and delivery of daily and monthly life enrichment programs.
- Follow dietary guidelines when facilitating activities involving food or beverages.
- Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to promote participant satisfaction and quality outcomes.
- Support the efficient operation of life enrichment services while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma required.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Experience working with older adults, long-term care, or end-of-life populations preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care and work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
