Hotel Maintenance Technician

Pay: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:20 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekend Availability: On call as needed

Job Description

Remedy Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician for a local hotel. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hands on, detail oriented, and able to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
• Complete routine preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and address basic plumbing issues
• Perform minor electrical repairs as needed
• Complete basic carpentry and general repair work
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and equipment for maintenance concerns
• Assist with maintaining heating, cooling, plumbing, and other building systems
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area
• Report major maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Assist with additional property maintenance duties as needed
• Be available for weekend on-call maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, facility, apartment, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests
• Must be available for weekend on-call needs
