Metrology Technician Up to $880 WEEKLY

Key Requirements:
- Technical education in Metrology, Mechanical Technology, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience operating ROMER measuring arms and CMMs
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS and PolyWorks | Inspector, including creating and
modifying inspection routines, establishing alignments, analyzing dimensional results, and generating reports. - Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
- Ability to perform inspections using 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Working knowledge of conventional measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Ability to assess measurement consistency and distinguish actual part deviations from fixturing, alignment, or measurement method issues.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, particularly with stamped parts and welded assemblies.
- Knowledge of dimensional checking fixtures and welding fixtures.
- Familiarity with PPAP, control plans, MSA, and automotive customer quality requirements.
- Experience with laser scanning, point clouds, and surface-to-CAD comparisons.
- Experience providing dimensional support for new product launches, tooling tryouts, and engineering changes.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical discipline.
- Accountability for the accuracy and integrity of measurement data
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and promptly raise concerns about measurement limitations or inconsistent results.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet production and project needs.
