Produce Manager - Now Hiring

Key Responsibilities 

Operations & Leadership

• Oversee daily operations and maintain department standards.
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate department employees.
• Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and promote teamwork.
• Work closely with store leadership to achieve department goals.

Inventory & Merchandising

• Manage ordering, inventory, deliveries, and product rotation.
• Monitor sales, control shrink, and minimize waste.
• Maintain fresh, attractive, and fully stocked produce displays.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and promotional displays.

Customer Service & Safety

• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain department cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Ensure employees follow company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous grocery, produce, or food-service experience required.
• 5+ years in produce and 2+ years management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of produce quality, handling, storage, and merchandising.
• Ability to manage inventory, control waste, and make sound business decisions.
• Current Food Worker Card (Food Handler Permit) required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely handle produce cases and department equipment.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated areas.
