Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal / Duct Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the fabrication, installation, and repair of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems in commercial and/or residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate sheet metal and ductwork
• Install supply and return air duct systems
• Seal, insulate, and properly secure ductwork
• Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Perform installations according to project specifications and safety standards
• Identify and troubleshoot ductwork and installation issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work effectively with other trades and team members
• Follow all company safety policies and job-site requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic, Duct Mechanic, HVAC Installer, or similar role
• Experience with commercial HVAC ductwork is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately take measurements
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and duct installation
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work in various job-site conditions
• OSHA/Safety training is a plus
