Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing clients, answering phones, assisting walk-in clients, occasionally writing new business, and helping manage the office. A 4-40 Insurance License is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Service:
2. • Provide exceptional service to existing clients by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
   • Maintain client records and update information as needed.
3. Phone and In-Person Support:
4. • Answer incoming calls and respond to client needs efficiently and courteously.
   • Assist walk-in clients with their insurance-related questions and service requests.
5. New Business Development:
6. • Occasionally assist in writing new business, including preparing quotes and proposals for potential clients.
   • Follow up on leads and referrals to generate new business opportunities.
7. Office Management:
8. • Help manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
   • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.

Qualifications:

• 4-40 Insurance License is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with insurance software and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, with regular office hours from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines.
