Job Description

Job Description

Like working on cars but don’t want to diagnose, troubleshoot, or deal with comebacks? Our dismantling techs work in a heated and air conditioned shop, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5pm. The more you produce, the more you earn.

What you’ll do
You’ll fully dismantle late model vehicles: drivetrain, front and rear suspension, doors, fenders, bumpers, seats, dash, computers, and more. As parts come off, you’ll inspect, tag, and mark them so our customers get a quality part exactly as described. You’ll run into vehicles you’ve never worked on before, so mechanical know-how and problem solving go a long way here.

The shop

  • Heated and air conditioned, with big overhead doors
  • In-ground hoists and overhead cranes in the bays
  • Forklift training and certification done in house
  • Safety comes first, always

What we’re looking for

  • You work on vehicles regularly, beyond oil changes and basic maintenance. Shop experience is great, but if you wrench on your own cars, project cars, or help out friends and family, that counts too
  • Domestic and foreign experience is a plus, not a must
  • Valid MN driver’s license
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Shows up, works safe, and takes pride in the work

Pay and benefits

  • Tool allowance and free uniforms
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with dollar for dollar match up to 4%
  • Paid holidays starting day one, plus vacation
  • Short and long term disability at no cost
  • $20,000 life insurance, with the option to buy more
  • One-on-one financial wellness program
  • Employee discount

This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the position.
