Traffic Control Supervisor

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Traffic Control Supervisor oversees traffic control activities for road construction and utility work projects. This role supervises field crews of 1–5 workers, coordinates work-zone operations, and travels frequently between multiple work sites to support safe, compliant project execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews on average 1–5 workers.
• Set up and maintain work zones for road construction and utility projects.
• Install and position traffic control signage.
• Coordinate flaggers and traffic control activities.
• Monitor traffic conditions and work-zone operations.
• Manage traffic control equipment and resources.
• Conduct safety inspections and support incident management.
• Travel frequently between multiple work sites.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in traffic control supervision.
• Knowledge of MUTCD compliance and traffic control plans.
• Understanding of work-zone safety and incident management.
• Experience conducting safety inspections.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ATSSA or CCA certification.
