Job Title: Hole Bore Operator
Location: Jessup, MD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Second Shift)
Pay Rate: $17.82/hour

Position Overview
PrideStaff is partnering with a premier manufacturer in Jessup, MD to hire a dedicated Hole Bore Operator. This is an active, fast-paced role that involves consistent physical labor focused on lifting, processing, and stacking large foam rolls across continuous 8-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Heavy Labor: Operate specialized equipment to bore holes into large foam rolls (approximately 5 feet in diameter and weighing about 90 lbs).
• Continuous Material Handling: Safely lift, maneuver, and stack these large foam rolls manually throughout the 8-hour shift using proper leverage and endurance.
• Inventory Verification: Read labels accurately to ensure raw foam materials match the correct containers and production lines.
• Scanning & Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners to record material movement and keep real-time inventory records up to date.
• Workflow Management: Keep pace with high-volume production demands, prioritizing material handling duties efficiently on the production floor.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Maintain precise attention to detail to minimize product damage, prevent inventory errors, and strictly follow all workplace safety protocols.
  

Qualifications & Skills Must-Haves:

• Physical Capability & Stamina: Proven ability to perform continuous physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and stacking ~90 lb items for 8 hours daily. (Note: This role relies heavily on stamina and proper lifting technique rather than sheer muscle mass).
• Detail-Oriented: Strong precision for reading product codes, scanning inventory, and processing documentation.
• Reliability & Punctuality: Strong work ethic, excellent attendance record, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or physically demanding manual labor.
• Previous experience using handheld RF scanners for inventory tracking.
