Lead HVAC Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Technician to help lead our HVAC and refrigeration service and installation work. This is a hands-on position for someone with strong technical skills who can troubleshoot difficult problems, guide other technicians, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

·        Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.

·        Diagnose and troubleshoot complex heating, cooling, and refrigeration issues.

·        Perform and oversee preventive maintenance.

·        Inspect systems and recommend repairs, replacements, or improvements.

·        Assist and mentor other technicians.

·        Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

·        Maintain accurate job notes and service records.

·        Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable codes.

·        Stay current with HVAC/R equipment, technology, and industry standards.

Qualifications

·        Strong experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.

·        Experience with residential and commercial equipment.

·        Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·        Previous lead technician or supervisory experience preferred.

·        Ability to organize and manage multiple jobs and priorities.

·        Strong communication and customer service skills.

·        Refrigeration experience preferred.

EPA certification preferred; NATE certification is a plus
