Kabuki Hawaii is looking for friendly, dependable Cashiers and Front Counter Team Members to join our team.
We're looking for people who enjoy working with customers, can stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and are willing to help wherever needed.
Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. A positive attitude, reliability, and great customer service are most important to us.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders accurately
- Operate the POS/register and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Answer customer questions about menu items and pricing
- Package and prepare takeout orders
- Answer phones and assist with phone orders
- Help customers through the okazuya line
- Restock containers, bags, utensils, condiments, beverages, and other supplies
- Keep the front counter and customer areas clean and organized
- Help maintain attractive food displays
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders and customer needs
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Help clean and maintain the front-of-house area
- Assist coworkers during busy periods
- Perform other front-of-house duties as needed
