Electrical Estimator/Account Manager- Service Dept

Capital City Electrical Service is seeking an Electrical Estimator/Account Manager to develop recurring sales through new prospects while retaining and growing existing customer relationships. This field-oriented role focuses on on-demand commercial service and small projects up to $100,000, primarily serving Atlanta, Georgia, and a 70-mile radius. The position works closely with other departments and Account Managers, offers salary plus commission compensation with additional year-end incentives, and provides potential for management growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop new service clients through personal relationships, professional business networking, and other appropriate sales methods.
• Respond promptly to qualified incoming leads approved by the Sales Manager.
• Contact prospects and conduct face-to-face upfront contract meetings.
• Prepare final estimated pricing and present proposals to decision-making customers.
• Close deals and accurately enter work orders and small projects into the HubSpot CRM.
• Compile required work-order documentation and submit it to the Service Manager for approval.
• Provide accurate monthly and yearly forecasts to the Sales Manager.
• Meet or exceed assigned quotas and margin requirements.
• Collaborate and multitask with other Account Managers to provide estimates.
• Perform additional duties, including emergency on-call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Five years of commercial electrical experience and five years of outside B2B professional sales experience.
• Experience as an electrical estimator or relevant experience working in the electrical trade, as determined by Leadership.
• Current knowledge of applicable electrical code expectations.
• Ability to prepare timely customer quotes using the in-house bid estimator, EBM.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate comfortably with decision-makers at various organizational levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible, multitasking team environment.
• Strong organization, critical thinking, communication, creative, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to extract information from customer plans and develop accurate, well-organized proposals.
• Electrical estimating skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of personal organization.
• Clean, valid driver’s license and successful background check.
• Presentable personal vehicle in good repair with adequate insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent electrical education.
• Three or more years of B2B sales experience.
• Previous experience working in a CRM.
