Maintenance Technician

Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a client in Charlotte, MI who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Maintenance Tech position who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check, and more.

• $22-28/hr
• 10 hour days
• 5am-3:30pm work schedule
• Clean work environment & great culture
• Overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for all related production equipment.
• Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, chillers, and other assigned general maintenance duties.
• Assess and resolve a wide range of on-site maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment.
• Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
• Acquire the necessary materials to complete repairs and work orders.
• Document equipment requirements and maintain appropriate records of work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read / write / speak English.
• Technical school or Certifications are highly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Ability to stand for 10 hour shifts.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a background test and drug screen.
